NYE Project Kick-off Meeting in Leitrim

The Neurodivergent Young Entrepreneurs (NYE) partnership recently came together in County Leitrim for our official kick-off meeting, hosted by Roscommon LEADER Partnership (RLP) and Momentum in the early December 2025. Partners travelled from Brussels, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Spain to join the in-person sessions and begin delivery planning as one team.

A productive start across all work packages

Over the course of the meeting, partners worked through all work packages (WPs) to confirm the overall direction of the project, roles, timelines, and practical next steps. A significant part of the discussion focused on WP2, as it will shape the quality and usefulness of key project outputs. We reviewed how partners will collaborate on development, how feedback and review will be managed, and how we will keep outputs clear, accessible, and usable in real settings.

Lived experience insight: neurodivergence at work

A key element of the agenda was a guest speaker session on what working life can be like as a neurodivergent person. The session helped ground our planning in real experience and highlighted why inclusive approaches and practical supports matter.

Closing in Carrick-on-Shannon

We closed the visit with a partner dinner in Carrick-on-Shannon where partners got the chance to get to know one another and end a successful meeting!
